FAQ
Yes. If the piece is functional and intended for food use - cups, tumblers, mugs, bowls, plates, spoons - the pieces is food safe. If the piece is not intended for foods - vases and trays for jewelry, keys, small sundries - it may not be food safe. The items that are not food safe will be marked as such.
Since origami is paper, it is fragile therefore subject to the same environmental stressors as other types of paper and will eventually degrade. Keep your pieces out of the sun so they do not fade, dust lightly with a feather duster or soft cloth to keep clean, do not get the origami pieces wet, do not crush them. They will easily be destroyed without attentive care.
For the porcelain - I can do custom color requests in some of the shapes on the site, but the glazing and firing process is mercurial and your piece will be in the tonality of what you want but not necessarily exactly the same. This is not commercial production at a large factory but one-of-a-kind at a small facility in New York City. A conversation is always best.
For the origami - I can do custom paper requests and shapes. It is much easier to have a conversation about what you are looking to do so we are on the same page :)
